Aaron Burciaga CAP is the Sr Director AI and Analytics at ECS Technology – he is the Global Lead for Defense Analytics and a Global Lead for the Accenture Insights Platform.
He continues military service as Reserve Marine Officer supporting the CIO Headquarters Marine Corps-Pentagon and is a veteran of the Iraq War (Fallujah, Operation Iraqi Freedom). Aaron’s technical interests are at the crossroads of advanced analytics, global logistics, and information management.
His research, development, and application of methods in Operations Research have resulted in multiple million and billion dollar cost savings/aversion studies. In 2013, Aaron was awarded the Military Operations Research Society (MORS) Rist Prize for “outstanding practical application in OR”. He is a three-time nominee for the Barchi Prize.
Aaron holds a M.S. in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School and a B.S. from the United States Naval Academy.
