Aim and Main Points

Evolved from immediate project work at the HTWK Leipzig and inspired through
the
resonance of two former workshops in the years 2002 and 2003, the
forthcoming
workshop is intended to give a forum for presentation and discussion of the
current
developments and the large varieties in the e-learning sector, whereas the
technical, didactical and organisational aspects will find a balanced focus.
The following main ideas will be the main aspects of the workshop:

-Durable implementation of e-Learning-processes at Universities
-organisational patterns
-cooperational issues (within and between universities)
-merging with university informational processes
-non technical support structures
-technical Infrastructure
-overcomming acceptance barriers
-Scenarios und Content
-didactical aspects
-adequate teach- and learn scenarios
-medial arrangement of courses
-case studies
-creation, administration und care of Content
-Rapid e-Learning
-e-Learning suites
-e-Learning platforms in a technical and conceptual View
-expiriences from all day use
-standardisation
-cooperation of local and regional platforms
-evaluation

other contributions e.g. involving theoretical essentials or juridical
aspects are
also welcome.
As a novelty in opposite to the past workshops two panel discussions are
planned.
The theme of one of these discussions will evolve from the ideas of the
interested
participants. While registering, you have the opertunity to write down a
proposal.
Lectures will be grouped in sessions by theme. The sessions will take place
in
different rooms individual or parallel. All system demonstrations and poster
exhibitions will take place simultanous in a seperate session.
The participants will have the opertunity to observe the posters and systems
individually and ask questions. The usage of the internet during a poster or
system
demonstration is possible by request.
