Event Details/Other Comments:

This meeting is a forum for researchers and practitioners working in
various areas of discrete optimization with applications in planning and
control of manufacturing and service operations, transportation and
storage, large-scale economic projects etc. The aim is to present recent
developments in theory, computation, and applications of the discrete
optimization methods in these fields.
DOM-2004 is the second International Workshop following the Discrete
Optimization Methods in Scheduling and Computer-Aided Design (DOM-2000)
organized in Minsk (Belarus) with participation of 89 researchers from 11
different countries. The proceedings of DOM-2000 have been published by the
Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the selected papers appeared in the
special issues of International Journal of Mathematical Algorithms and
Journal of Mathematical Modelling and Algorithms after the Workshop.
