BALTIMORE, MD, January 17, 2025 – INFORMS, the world’s largest association for professionals and students in operations research (O.R.), AI, analytics and data science, has unveiled six finalists for the prestigious 2025 Franz Edelman Award for achievement in advanced analytics, operations research and management science. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, there has been a steady and persistent onslaught of new variants of concern that has challenged both natural and vaccine-acquired immunity.
